  • Records are required to be kept at company's principal business office within the State of South Dakota. The principal office does not have to be the place of business activity. The principal office can be in care of the registered agent. If you do not have an address in South Dakota, then your registered agent should keep copies.
  • If your agent will not keep copies of the required documentation, then you should find a another registered agent.
