California recently amended its LLC laws.
This set of statutes governs Operating Agreements; Annual filings and taxation.
California’s Limited Liability Company Act is incorporated within the California Corporations Code Section 17701.01. First enacted in 1996, it was amended to expressly permit a single-member LLC to be formed beginning on January 1, 2000.
Professional Limited Liability Companies (PLLCs) are not allowed.
